Egypt: Football Team Suffers Worst-Ever Fifa Ranking

The Egyptian national football team represents Egypt in association football and is governed by the Egypt Football Association (EFA), the governing body for football in Egypt. Egypt's home ground is Cairo International Stadium in Cairo and their head coach is Bob Bradley. They are the most successful African team at Confederation level, winning the African Cup of Nations seven times: The inaugural African Cup of Nations in Sudan in 1957, at home in 1959, 1986 and Egypt in 2006, and in Burkina Faso in 1998, Ghana in 2008, and Angola in 2010. Egypt have been as high as 9th in the FIFA World Rankings, making them the only Arab team and one of two African national teams to enter the world top ten. Despite this, Egypt has so far made only two appearances in the World Cup, with no victories.

Now according to the latest FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association) ranking released on the 14 March, Egypt's national football team has dropped to the lowest in its history at 75th place.
Egypt's best ranking was in July 2010 after the World Cup where its team occupied 9th place, according to FIFA's official website. Does this fall mean that Egypt is not to be Africa's most feared team anylonger?
On other news, Ivory Coast still leads African teams with 12th place, followed by Ghana, Mali and Nigeria while Algeria leads Arab teams with 34th place followed by Tunisia and Libya.
